- Ensure all commercial processes are established, implemented, and adhered to
- Contribute to business growth improvements
- Draft and develop robust commercial documentation, in collaboration with Legal, to safeguard company interests and capitalise on opportunities
- Ensure contractual obligations are maintained
- Effectively communicate contract terms to internal and external stakeholders with a focus on financials
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Participate in pre-contract negotiations and agreements
- Engage in bid processes to identify and manage commercial risks
- Provide training and mentoring within the Commercial Team
Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (related subjects also apply)
- Proven track record in commercial or contract management roles, especially managing large, multi-million-pound contracts with a strong foundation in corporate finance, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Deep understanding of contract law and industry regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
- Solid leadership experience, with a focus on team development and performance
