Job descriptionMFL teacher – Rochdale – SeptemberA dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Rochdale, to join them on a full-time basis from September, teaching key stage 3 & 4 ASAP, on an ongoing basis, for the full academic years.This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.The opportunity is to work at a school that has Good behaviour and attitudes, which means students behave well in lesson and around the school site. Teachers expectations of pupils behaviour and achievements are high. There are also wide opportunities for students to engage in the local community and in the school life.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS:Location RochdalePosition MFL Teacher (KS3 & 4)Type of work TeachingStart date September 2024Likely Duration ongoingContract type TemporaryFull timeMinimum rate of pay from GBP153.85 per day.Hours 8:15am 4pmEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of Spanish key stage 4 an French key stage 3Degree educated with a good classificationSecondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in MFLPrevious experience working with young people (which we can reference)Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)Up to date behaviour management training (essential, however, training can be provided).TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.20.Provide a minimum of two professional references.If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
