Barden is excited to have been engaged by a renowned Irish company to identify an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team.This company has been a powerhouse in its sector for many years, earning a distinguished reputation. With ongoing expansion, they are seeking a driven part qualified accountant to join their finance function.This person will be working closely with the wider finance team and will get good exposure to their entire finance function.“We are looking for somebody ambitious who is looking to progress their career in finance. Ideally, this person would continue to grow with our company and in time, take on the role of financial controller” – CFORole Overview:
- Creating and sending out invoices.
- Actively following up on payments and ensuring they are received and recorded correctly.
- Investigating and reconciling any discrepancies in payments.
- Handling daily banking operations.
- Overseeing credit management.
- Organizing and updating accounts receivable.
- Managing cash flow and receipts.
- Addressing and settling customer inquiries.
- Undertaking various ad hoc tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Part-qualification in ACA/ACCA/CIMA/IATI or a commitment to further professional exams is beneficial.
- Proficient in Excel.
- A keen eye for detail with a solution-oriented mindset
