Hobson Prior is looking for a Principal Scientist for a permanent role based in Ireland. The ideal candidate will focus on introducing new products and processes at a large-scale manufacturing level, finding ways to improve these processes, and providing support for existing production processes. • Introduce new products and processes at a large-scale manufacturing level, validate initial processes, and define strategies for process control.
• Find ways to improve the process to increase yield or robustness, and create data packages that lead to implementation at a large-scale manufacturing level.
• Support and protect existing production processes through data trending and monitoring, create scientific/technical study protocols and reports in support of significant changes, assess product impact upon significant deviations in the production process and provide technical advice to questions from other departments.

Requirements

• A PhD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
• Relevant experience in process development or a similar function.
