You are a highly skilled and experienced HV Project Manager who can lead the design and construction of 110kV substations and grid connections. You will have a proven track record in managing high voltage projects, particularly within the data centre, wind farm, or solar farm industries.This role will initially focus on Work Winning, leading the technical aspects of bids for related projects based out of Kildare/Dublin. - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing high voltage projects, specifically 110kV substations and grid connections.
- Proven experience in the data centre, wind farm, or solar farm industries.
- Strong understanding of high voltage electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience in bid preparation and technical proposal development.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
As a High Voltage (HV) Project Manager
- Lead the design and construction of 110kV substations and grid connections.
- Manage all phases of project development, from initial bid through to completion.
- Develop and execute project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Lead technical elements of bid preparation and submission.
- Provide technical guidance and support during the Work Winning phase.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
