Job Title: Assistant Manager
Job Description
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee farm operations in the absence of the farm manager. You will participate in various poultry husbandry duties, respond to alarm calls, and occasionally fill in for house managers. You will supervise and review the work of departmental employees, assist in hiring and personnel actions, and identify training needs. You will monitor performance, schedule overtime, and assist in developing departmental plans. Additionally, you will ensure the maintenance of departmental equipment, uphold biosecurity, and maintain records according to SOPs.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Norwich, Connecticut.
Work Environment
You will work on a farm, overseeing several poultry houses and processing departments. You will ensure that all departmental areas are maintained in a clean and orderly condition and that equipment is in good working condition. Biosecurity and adherence to SOPs are critical aspects of the work environment.
