This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

How does a Technology Training Specialist make an impact?

• Facilitates technology portion of new hire orientation and creates onboarding plan to familiarize employees with company technology.
• Identifies technology training needs in collaboration with managers, designs training solutions, develops learning plans to meet user needs and address performance gaps e.g., employee security, software, hardware usage. 
• Facilitates workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions to improve employee knowledge and abilities.
• Monitors employee progress and adjusts training strategies as needed.
• Creates best practices for using technology and assists with development and communication of technology policies and procedures.
• Serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking assistance using IAACU technology; resolves basic technology support tickets e.g., password resets, access permissions, usability; and escalates complex technical problems to the TechOps team as needed. Maintains accurate records of employee requests and resolutions.
• Participates on project teams when implementing new technology to ensure that proper training is developed for employees and training standards are met.

• Proven excellence in professional communication, presentation, persuasion, and facilitation skills; in person and virtual instructor led.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Customer-focused mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
• Typically requires 4 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
