To accelerate this growth even further, IO&As is rapidly growing into all industries and markets globally. One of IO&A strategic growth markets is UKI, and we are looking for a highly accomplished, results-driven and versatile individual to join our Operations Consulting (sub) Practice.Your roleThe Business Consultant will be instrumental in advising on operational improvements, and cognitive automation solutions. This role requires expertise in managing process excellence with an excellent understanding around hyper automation and digital solutions, as well as a good understanding of the aviation industry. They will need to identify opportunities to leverage automation technologies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with automation advisory team to develop and implement automation strategies that align with their business goals and operational needs.
- Provide expert guidance on the adoption of AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop business cases for investment in automation technologies, including ROI analysis and implementation roadmaps.
- Have a good understanding of training and change management requirements to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
Skills and Experience:
- Academic with a master’s degree, preferably in business administration, data analytics
- In depth experience working within large consultancy environments
- Experience within the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of implementing successful automation and digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of the aviation/airlines ground operations and back-office processes. Understanding of airline industry’s regulatory environment and operational challenges is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to produce high quality business-facing deliverables and activities to drive the automation agenda.
- Resilient and able to manage challenge and resistance.
- Results/outcomes oriented, business value focused.
- Confident and able to work in high-ambiguity work environment.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
