Our Client is a Leading Law Firm and are hiring a Junior Legal Secretary/Administrator. This is a great opportunity to join a busy team in a responsible and time sensitive role with the debt and enforcement division of the Firm. This will suit a candidate who would like to settle and progress with the team, possibly with some Debt Recovery or Mortgage Litigation experience. - Supporting a team of solicitors and legal executives, assisting in all aspects of debt recovery and mortgage litigation case administration;
- Working in a collaborative manner with the team, sharing knowledge and know how.
- Processing case documentation from initial instructions through to conclusion.
- Pro-actively managing court lists (including liaising with counsel and other side about court dates and adjournments).
- Processing some basic billing (training will be provided).
- Tracking activity and producing reports as required.
The Candidate:
- You have legal administration experience and are able to deal with a high volume workload;
- You ideally have debt recovery and mortgage litigation experience;
- You have excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail;
- You are highly reliable and conscientious with a very professional manner.
- You have good systems skills.
