They will work within an inpatient multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to maintain a safeand clean environment and provide a comfortable atmosphere for the patients and carers.To maintain clinical and non-clinical areas ensuring high standards are met in relation to essentialtasks. Providing some patient care alongside HCA’s under supervision of RN’sMain duties of the jobAn opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Environmental Assistant to join Sevenscore Ward working 8am-4pm Monday to Friday with a small degree of flexibility. No weekend or night work.We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent communication skills; you will come into contact with service users so good interpersonal skills are required.You will be required to ensure the ward areas are kept tidy. You will be responsible for the ordering of ward stock, pertaining to the Clinical environment. The role includes carrying out environmental checks and audits, responsibility for the safe storage of patients laundry. You will liaise closely with relatives and carers.You will be required to work alongside HCA’s in clinical role with relevant training updates.At Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust we understand the vital role played by cleaning staff within the NHS.
