In 2022, 134.2 million lots were traded, equating to $15.2 trillion and 3.1 billion tonnes notional, with a market open interest high of 1.8 million lots.The metals community uses the LME, an HKEX Group company, as a venue to transfer or take on price risk, as a physical market of last resort and as the provider of transparent global reference prices.Overall Purpose of Role:This role’s primary responsibility will be to coordinate all aspects of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and ensure appropriate I.T. Disaster Recovery testing takes place. The secondary role will be in support of the department Head for all aspects of the operational resilience framework. This position will assist with ensuring the important business services and supporting functions are suitably exercised and tested throughout the year.Responsibilities:

  • Deliverance of Business Continuity strategical and tactical response.
  • Consider International Standard ISO22301 within all aspects and management of the BCMS.
  • Consider regulatory requirements in all aspects of and management of BCMS.
  • Coordination of BC exercises and test scenarios.
  • Take a lead role in coordinating the following essential elements of Business Continuity on at least an annual basis:
  • BC Policy review
  • BC Plan review
  • Business Impact Assessments (BIAs)
  • Departmental BC Plans
  • Review and approval of all documents and processes within the BCMS.
  • Assist with delivery of the operational resilience management information (MI).
  • Assist in review of Service Impact Assessments for Operational Resilience.

Required Knowledge and Level of Experience:

  • Producing documentation to ITIL/ITSM standard.
  • Broad knowledge and experience in business continuity management systems
  • Ideally with BCI membership (AMBCI, MBCI, etc…)
  • Previous experience with ISO22301 standard
  • Coordination of Business Impact Assessment (BIA)
  • Understanding and scoring of risk assessments (impact and likelihood)
  • Coordinating ISO22301 audits

Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Working for Financial Market Infrastructure or similar organisation.
  • General knowledge of I.T. networks and environments.
  • General knowledge in disaster recovery testing / invocation.
  • Any role with Operational Resilience responsibilities.
  • Experience of Risk and Resilience tools
