The placement will commence in July 2024 for a period of 12 months.We are a full-service in-house marketing team, and the successful student will have the opportunity to experience working on varied projects covering multiple marketing disciplines within our marketing function.The Recruitment ProcessStage 1: Apply online (All applicants)Stage 2: VC Interview (For those that have been shortlisted)Stage: 3 Assessment Centre (For those that have been shortlisted)The assessment for this placement opportunity will take place on Wednesday 11th December 2024 and will be at Witham St Hughes, near Lincoln, Lincolnshire.Placement detailsMarketing and Communications AssistantTo be based at Witham St Hughs (between Newark and Lincoln) at least three days a week with the rest of the week home-based. The role is working in a small in-house team across a variety of marketing and communications activity, for our internal and external customers.

  • Working with the marketing and communications, you will assist with the creation and execution of internal communications and employer brand campaigns. This includes creating online content, promotional materials, website and social media activity, in-house video production, podcast production and company literature
  • Working with key stakeholders from across the business, such as our HR and Operations teams, to generate communications that enhance the company’s brand as an employer
  • Supporting major projects such as our employee engagement survey, sustainability initiative and introduction of new digital communications systems such as corporate website and intranet
  • Opportunity to get involved with other projects as required by the wider communications team and business.
  • You will support with the creation and execution of external marketing campaigns. This includes creating email marketing, direct mail, invitations and promotional materials, the production of printed material including budgeting and artwork management
  • Working with a wide network of stakeholders across the business to define and deliver on commercial objectives
  • Organisation of events, including exhibitions and conferences, to include attendance where necessary.
