You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor in Ireland, either as an HV/MV Project Manager or a Senior Electrical Engineer ready to step into a project management role.This is an excellent opportunity within your new company’s Power Division based out of Dublin.You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from the initial work-winning phase through design, construction, commissioning, and handover, while leading the team and managing key stakeholders, including clients, Eirgrid, and ESBN.Projects will focus on HV/MV systems and will include the design and construction of new substations and grid connections for renewable energy assets like wind and solar farms, upgrades to national grid substations, as well as data center grid connections, overhead power lines, and underground power cables.For those eager to learn more about this exciting opportunity, please do not hesitate to reach out to Stephen at [email protected] / 015314345As an Electrical HV & MV Project Manager:
- Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (preferably Chartered with Engineers Ireland)
- 5+ years of experience working for a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor in Ireland or Senior Electrical Engineer looking to move up to Project Manager
- Proven experience managing HV/MV projects
- Expertise in SHE management, design, procurement, project planning, and QA/QC
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Electrical HV & MV Project Manager Skills:
- Lead project teams and coordinate with stakeholders (Clients, Eirgrid & ESBN)
- Manage safety, health, and environmental (SHE) aspects of projects
- Oversee design management in line with Eirgrid/ESBN parameters
- Handle procurement of major equipment for HV/MV projects
- Plan and resource projects, managing timelines effectively
- Manage commercial and contractual obligations
- Ensure quality assurance, quality control, and commissioning of projects
