Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. The role is based in Harwichport, Massachusetts, United States and involves managing a variety of accounting functions. This position provides an excellent opportunity to utilize and further develop your accounting skills in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular journal entries and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records

• Provide support for monthly close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Utilize accounting software systems, specifically NetSuite, to manage and analyze financial data

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable to manage financial transactions

• Perform auditing tasks to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Manage balance sheet accounts to ensure financial stability

• Utilize knowledge of healthcare systems to cater to industry-specific accounting needs

• Ensure efficient processing of customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status

• Utilize ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning and Concur for efficient management of accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Concur

• Familiarity with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform all necessary Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Auditing procedures

• Experience with Balance Sheet Account

• Proficiency in NetSuite

• Familiarity with HealthCare System

• Experience with Monthly Close procedures

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills.
