Technical lead

Our goal is to support customers via NPI process (new product introduction) to complete project commitment with highest quality, and so we provide dedicated SPOCs for our lead customers to enable faster turn around and resolution.

We are responsible for EndToEnd of Customer Project (Deployment, Integration, customer acceptance Test cases development and Execution)importantly troubleshooting complex issues working along with R&D)

To name a few roles we play :

Design related queries and Technical queries from customers during Project design document preparations. Understand the Customer underlying platforms like 3rd party Cloud for VNF Deployments and 3rd party Container Platforms for CNF Deployments, provide Support for the required customization of artifacts like VNF CBAM Artifacts and CNF Artifacts like helm charts for successful deployment of our products.

We as a part of this whole process of NPI project delivery cater two important aspect one enabling services along on each step we do secondly look out for serviceability aspects ie collect initial inputs/feedback on the products with which we take actions to bridge the gaps to make our products more resilient and robust.

Another important aspect we cater at 4LS/NPI team is the crisis management, our team is available to handle escalation/Emergency/code red situation occurring with our customers , We are monitoring and do health check on customer situation and take needed mitigation steps, we work on follow the sun model and make sure we are available across various time zones leaving no gaps in terms of availability.

Additionally we shield R&D with case handling for maintanence cases and provide extra layer of support in filtering cases which are tending faulty towards R&D.

We are all here solving problems of need of the hour wearing a hat of either a developer or tester or product manager. But what thrills us at 4LS/NPI team is resolving complex issues quickly – efficiently and the result is so real-time that you are already part of outcome of your efforts.

Such quick turn-arounds helps creating positive image of the organization and helps builds quality professional relationship with the customers.

Job description:

5+ years experience of technical product expertise with good know how of Telecom domain and has worked extensively on SDL/One-NDS/HLR/HSS/UDM product areas.

Skills required: 

• 5+ years of working experience with telecom core domain – Nokia SDL/One-NDS/HLR/HSS/UDM
• Responsible for NPI (New product introduction) deployments and troubleshooting along with case handling for Nokia SDL/One-NDS/HLR/HSS/UDM
• Detailed understanding of core network elements/ solutions and their value to Operators
• Knowledge of development processes, realization and “GoTo Market” processes 
• Detailed understanding of 3G/4G call flows , good understanding of 5G call flows
• Knowledge on Cloud Infra would be added advantage
• Responsible for troubleshooting issues on SDL/One-NDS/HLR/HSS/UDM
• Handle Crisis/Emergency support as needed
• Supports system upgrades and customer projects for new implementation activities on various platforms
• Technology & tools: Unix Shell Scripts,Perl, Python, IPSL, usage of simulators as relevant
• Unix & Linux Systems (installation, administration, use)
• Scripting experience (shell, perl,python)
• Contribute towards innovative initiatives to improve product troubleshooting and work towards needed tooling.
