Business Analyst

Robert Half Technology is partnering with a client seeking a Business Analyst in Garyville, Louisiana. This right person will have experience as a business analyst in a refinery environment, acting as a liaison for .NET development. The position will involve working closely with end users and technical teams managing documentation, user stories, and use cases. This role is On-Site in Garyville, Louisiana.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies to manage project workflows and tasks.

• Conduct detailed business analysis, documenting business processes and functions.

• Create and maintain user stories and use cases to capture business requirements.

• Use Power BI and Tableau to develop business intelligence solutions and data visualizations.

• Communicate effectively with end users to understand and address their needs.

• Document system requirements and processes in a .NET environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure CRM data accuracy and efficiency.

• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business requirements and work towards meeting those needs.

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required for project tracking and issue management

• Experience with Business systems and communicating between technical and non-technical users.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology in a development environment.

• Understanding of Business Process Functions to ensure business efficiency and productivity

• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents to outline the needs and expectations of the business

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities

• Knowledge in .NET framework for software development

• Ability to Analyze Business Requirements to identify business needs and determine solutions

• Experience in Business Analysis to evaluate business processes and anticipating requirements

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) practices for the development of business insights and decision making.
