Position Title: Telecom Installation Deployment Coordinator
This position is for a telecommunications deployment coordinator responsible for managing a high amount of customer specific jobs related to the installation of Telecom equipment. This job will be responsible for working with internal Ribbon teams tracking project materials, intervals, resource assignments, scheduling and closure.
Primary Responsibilities of Position:
- Become familiar with customer guidelines and implement customer guidelines and standards.
- Understand and use established safety practices.
- Read and interpret Engineering specs, prints, and drawings.
- Review each new job with Project Management and become familiar with individual project requirements.
- Plan and manage high amount of projects occurring at same time.
- Track agreed intervals and plan each jobs resource assignments.
- Track engineered materials and manage readiness to agreed intervals.
- Work with internal supply chain for any materials tracking late and work to resolve issues.
- Coordinate delivery of materials to resource assignments onsite.
- Write individual job method of operations based on customer site expectations and engineering documents.
- Obtain approval of customer documentation and prepare individual job packages at job start.
- Work with assigned resources at job sites and resolve any issues preventing completion by agreed completion.
- At completion, work with onsite resources to obtain closing documentations and submit to customer for approval.
- Conduct regular team meetings.
- Provide regular status reports.
- Work directly with the customer on all jobs before, during and at completion.
- Maintain job records and administration tracking.
- Manage customer databases with agreed site procedures.
Minimum Skills/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in in Telecommunications or Technical discipline.
- Above 10 years of work experience in Technical roles in Telecommunication.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
- Project management, leadership, and administrative skills to successfully complete projects while meeting cost, quality and schedule requirements.
- Problem resolution and escalation skills.
- Strong computer literacy including MS office.
