Jennie-O Turkey Store – OK Ranch Part-time Farm Worker – Barron, WI

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform daily farm activities/chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, and farm equipment as outlined and described in the department operating manuals
2. Help other employees with safety, productivity and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions/problem solving
3. Responsible for the accurate accounting and record keeping for eggs packed, eggs culled, cooler temperatures, humidity’s and internal egg temperatures. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned farm
• Ability to work every other weekend and holidays
• 9th grade level in math, reading and writing skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• PHYSICAL: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist occasionally
• Ability to wear eye protection and respiratory protection equipment continually
• Ability to work in all weather conditions cold and hot
• No restrictions lifting, bending or standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of farm experience
