Logistics Transport PlannerDue to continuous growth, our client, based in Dublin 24, seeks a Logistics Transport Planner to join their dynamic team. This role is perfect for a transport planner or administrator with logistics and warehousing experience who wants to advance their career with an exciting and growing organisation.Key Responsibilities:

• Process import manifests and bookings daily, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery to meet operational needs of customers.
• Manage files accurately, ensuring timely billing and costing in compliance with company standards.
• Keep customers informed about order progress and any deviations or changes that occur.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Foster a positive work environment by supporting and respecting colleagues in completing their tasks.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and administrative duties, including sourcing, processing, and compiling reports as needed.
• Generate and distribute delivery and performance reports for relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with additional operational functions on a project basis as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or transport planning is preferred.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with the logistics and freight forwarding industry is an advantage.
• Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid numeracy, literacy, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, demonstrated through proven work performance.
• A reliable and hardworking individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
