LC State invites applications for the position of Instructor of
Business.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $50,824

Degree Required:Master’s degree in Business Administration from a
regionally accredited college or university

Required Qualifications:

• Experience and education needed to teach business courses.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Terminal degree in Business or a closely related field from a
  regionally accredited college or university.
• College-level teaching experience preferred
• Quality on-line instructional experience
• Collegiality within a team environment
• Ability to work independently
• Perform effectively under pressure and with deadlines
• Experience utilizing instructional technology and Microsoft Teams
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and written verbal communication
  skills

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities are teaching business-related courses. This
position is responsible for teaching a 12-hour course load per semester,
advising students, program development, outcomes assessment, scholarly
activities, and service to the division and college. Additional duties
include direct and indirect activities to support the recruitment and
retention of students.
