Great Oaks Legacy Charter School is seeking a dynamic Network Special Projects Coordinator! The Network SPC at Great Oaks Legacy Charter School serves as a key member of the GOLCS Network Team.
The Network Special Projects Coordinator provides logistical and operational support that helps promote the success of our Network Team. The Network SPC is the primary owner of various systems including project and database management, compliance, technology support, and event planning. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can manage many competing priorities and constituents, and can work efficiently under deadlines.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Network Special Projects Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works collaboratively with the Managing Director of Operations and Finance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute Network-wide events and initiatives:
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate logistics for:
- Monthly Network team meetings
- Large-scale network-wide events (i.e. Family Gala, Annual Holiday Party, End-of-Year BBQ, etc.)
- Team retreats and events
- Professional development sessions
- Support Network Operations functions:
- Support in the coordination of student recruitment activities and participate in student enrollment and registration activities as needed
- Work with the Managing Director of Marketing, Communications, and External Affairs to ensure all important events are properly documented and shared with the larger community
- Support in the planning and preparation materials for internal and external meetings or presentations and facilitate meetings as needed
- Collaborate with external vendors:
- Connect with local vendors to develop partnerships that our students and staff may be able to benefit from or take advantage of while also giving back to the community at large
- Work alongside the Chief Operating Officer and local clothing manufacturers to develop swag items in predetermined cycles throughout the year
- Network Office & Tutor Corps Operations management:
- Lead and ordering and procurement for the Network office should requests be made
- Facilitate any Network-office moves or construction projects that need to occur within the Network office space
- Ensure the Network office is clean, tidy, and aesthetically up-to-par
- Support the Tutor Corps with general operations to include landlord communications, apartment logistics (internet, cable, etc.), travel arrangements when necessary, etc.
- Project manage cross-functional team efforts:
- Collaborate with organization leaders to develop, operationalize, and coordinate projects in need of additional capacity
- Share any fresh ideas as it pertains to core initiatives and special projects as they arise
- Support the Managing Director of Marketing, Communications, and External Affairs in the coordination of video shoots and marketing campaign
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4+ years of school-based and/or professional experience, particularly in a non-profit setting
- Demonstrated experience preparing large-scale events (300+ people)
- Strong experience with project planning and execution
- Strong command of Google Workspace, specifically Google Sheets

EMPLOYMENT TERMS
