Location: London, UK (On site Support)
Duration of the Assignment: 5 yearsJob Purpose and primary objectives: To provide onsite touch support during business hours for hardware and software on User workstations, printer devices, Analog phones, IP Phones, Audio / Video DevicesKey responsibilities:

  • Installing and configuring client computer systems Responding to client, IT support requests
  • Contacting clients to find out the nature of the problem
  • Meeting with clients to diagnose software, networking, or hardware issues
  • Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems
  • Offering solutions that meet the needs of the client
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals
  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software
  • Troubleshooting networking and connection issues
  • IMAC of new network printers and related service drivers
  • Issuing loaner PC and peripheral devices and maintaining stock
  • Install and set-up of user desk phone devices and training if needed
  • Support level 2/3 teams with touch services for devices not reachable remotely for in scope sites
  • Install and de-install Audio Visual equipment and cabling in conference rooms
  • Tape handling/offsite storage for in scope sites Site surveys in advance of major work
  • Advising on software or hardware upgrades
  • Providing basic training to users on computer operation and management

Key Skills/Knowledge:
LAN/WAN, SCCM, IP Phones, Windows, Desktop Support, Good communication, Organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skillsExperience Required:
6-8 years
