Medical Secretary / Office Manager (Kilkenny City)Our client, a busy clinic based in Kilkenny City are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary / Office Manager to join their team. This role will see you deliver and coordinate an exceptionally high level of support and Customer Service.Duties:
- Organise patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, rescheduling, and managing cancellations.
- Meeting and greeting all patients.
- Organising patient’s lists.
- Organising theatre lists.
- Handling phone and email queries.
- Maintaining and updating accurate and up-to-date patient records via specified medical system.
- Billing patients and taking payments.
- Typing letters, clinical reports and transcriptions.
- Reconcile Insurance forms.
- Ordering office supplies and overseeing the maintenance of office equipment.
- Pay practice’s invoices.
- Maintaining total confidentiality of personal and financial data.
- Maintain a very high level of confidence and discretion.
- Ad hoc projects and duties that may be required from time to time.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology would be Preferable.
- Strong typing skills.
- Dictaphone typing experience ideally.
- Excellent time management & attention to detail skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a team and on own initiative.
