Supply Chain & Procurement | Ireland | Permanent | € 100000 – € 120000Senior Project ManagerYou will report to the Head of Transformation & Change Management & be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling & closing assigned projects. As a member of the Transformation team, you will manage complex projects for high priority programs. You will demonstrate initiative, be an advocate for change & act as the primary liaison between all cross-functional teams to successfully complete each project.What is Required?

  • Identifying project goals & scope.
  • Planning & documenting project tasks.
  • Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines, & deliverables.
  • Ensure goals are delivered on time.
  • Create presentation material for stakeholders, steering committee.
  • Team coordination – Assign tasks & unify team efforts by promoting collaboration, resolving conflicts, & leading team meetings.
  • Organise & lead int/external cross-functional teams to meet deadlines & objectives.
  • Provide critical thinking, challenging management & project teams on assumptions & improve processes.
  • Contribute to defining structure & objectives of the project, involving all relevant stakeholders & ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure risk management to minimise project risks & ensure resource availability.
  • Manage expectations of the management team & project team.
  • Collect data to support progress & reports.
  • Develop business strategies & tactics to implement changes to existing or new processes.
  • Develop metrics for process measurements, identifying indicators for future improvements.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed changes to help management make strategic & tactical decisions.
  • Communicate status issues, risks, & changes to all stakeholders, including management & project teams.
  • Establish project budgets, track expenses, & report variances.
  • Make presentations to all levels in organisation.

Education & Experience:

  • Proven professional experience in project management (7+ years).
  • A Degree/Masters in a related field.
  • A project management qualification .
  • Good understanding of formal project management methodologies.

Technical & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Successfully engage in multiple projects/initiatives at once.
  • Create & manage a culture of change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – building trust & a strong network at all levels.
  • Identifying the needs & expectations of others to provide mutually acceptable solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage various projects & meet tight deadlines.
  • Process-oriented – recognise areas for improvement & develop implementation strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Manage & influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • Can develop a clear & detailed plan.
  • Excellent communication skills & executive presence.
  • Strong interpersonal & conflict resolution skills.
  • Enjoy fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
