This dedication has enabled the company to introduce pioneering solutions that have not only benefited its clients but also been adopted across the trans-Atlantic aviation industry.ICTS is frequently invited to collaborate on the testing and development of new aviation security systems, working in close partnership with government agencies in the UK, mainland Europe, and the United States.KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIESWe are currently seeking a Station Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations and performance of our operations within Glasgow Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations, while driving operational excellence across the station.Operational Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standard of service delivery to clients.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to departmental management teams.
  • Ensure all ICTS services meet both contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold Client, ICTS, and quality control standards, consistently adhering to company procedures.
  • Maintain and oversee professional standards across the region, ensuring full compliance with specified procedures.
  • Lead a safety-first culture, promoting safe and efficient operational delivery across the region.
  • Foster positive employee engagement through visible and accessible leadership, ensuring open and effective communication.
  • Operate within the authority levels outlined by the company’s working procedures.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by the Divisional Director.
  • Cultivate a culture of equality and inclusivity across the region.
  • Support and promote professional development opportunities for all employees.
  • Actively promote ICTS (UK) & Ireland Ltd, its values, and its brand in a positive manner.
  • Oversee financial performance, including profit and loss (P&L) management for the station.
  • Engage regularly with clients to ensure high levels of contractual compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Explore and develop new business opportunities within the remits of the stations.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are effectively managed to meet client requirements and staffing needs.

Person SpecificationEssential:

  • 5-Year Checkable Work History: Ability to provide a fully checkable five-year employment history.
  • Security Clearance: Successful clearance of a Criminal Record Check and Counter Terrorism Check prior to the start date.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to operational needs and work flexible hours when required.
  • Administrative Skills: Strong administrative abilities, including basic proficiency in computer systems.
  • Aviation Security Experience: Previous experience working in an aviation security environment, with a minimum of managerial level experience.
  • Pressure Management: Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in directly managing and leading a team.
  • ASM Qualification: Possession of an Airport Security Manager (ASM) qualification.
  • HR Experience: Previous experience in handling HR-related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Budgetary Management: Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
