Responsibilities
Peraton requires a Network Engineer Technical to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order. The Network Engineer Technical Lead works directly with the SITEC 3 EOM Enterprise Deputy Program Manager in executing requirements to meet and exceed performance objectives associated with the program. This position is located in Singapore.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
The Network Engineer Technical Lead provides technical support at SITEC 3 EOM requirements. The Network Engineer Technical Lead must be detail- oriented and have in-depth knowledge of network engineering and all aspects associated with providing network engineering functions and support at the enterprise level serving clients operating in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The Network Engineer Technical Lead must be demonstrating hands-on and in-depth knowledge of both networking hardware and software applications, network engineering platforms, and architecture and engineering development and deployment. Extensive experience in areas such as network design and implementation, LAN/WAN, SDN, network interfacing, HCI, enterprise interoperability, cybersecurity, internet protocols and TCP/IP, as well as, server configuration and maintenance across multiple network infrastructures are required. This position tests and analyzes elements of network facilities, including engineering, software, hardware, configuration protocols, cybersecurity applications, communications devices, communications lines, modems, and terminals and is responsible for the overall integration of the enterprise network. The Network Engineer Technical Lead is also responsible for planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of multiple network platforms and enclaves. Additionally, this position monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as, identifying and diagnosing complex network and infrastructure problems affecting overall network performance. The Network Engineer Technical Lead maintains technical skills, certifications, and continuously updates operational expertise including establishing and sustaining good vendor knowledge of emerging products to determine those which best meet the Government’s needs.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engineer, lead, and coordinate enterprise network and infrastructure platforms, including but not limited to, secure data, voice, unified communications, configuration management and video networks to operate across technical activities performed on the SIE.
- Operate and maintain healthy CONOPs for secure transport on multi-network environments,
- enclaves, and specialized cloud-based platforms.
- Lead multidisciplined, geographically displaced teams to effectively operate, maintain, continuously monitor, defend, and protect network computing environments.
- Serve as technical conduit for network designs, development, and deployment activities ensuring testing and evaluation practices, documentation, and requirements are successfully exercised across the SIE and associated environments.
- Collaborate across Enterprise and industry-wide vendors, the Government, supply carriers,
- and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management Performing risk and vulnerability assessments for engineered networks and systems on the SIE.
- Providing high-level technical and operational hands-on support and strategic expertise in networking technology, including
- LAN/WAN/SDN/Cloud software, hardware, switches, routers, bridges, IP networks, circuits, and encryption standard and non-standard devices.
- Lead diverse technical teams that integrating new technology into the existing operational
- environment.
- Establish and sustain documentation baselines to measure network performance and capability across a global enterprise.
- Advise senior government staff on industry best practices and provide policy recommendations to implement those practices.
Qualifications
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
- TS/SCI clearance is required for this role
- DoDD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification AND one of the following certifications desired:

Target Salary Range
$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
