Senior Network Engineer – Wireless Expert 

We are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a strong wireless skillset to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure, with a focus on wireless technologies. You will work closely with other IT team members and business stakeholders to ensure that the network infrastructure meets the organization’s needs for security, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain wireless network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and security systems
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and security policies
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including performance, connectivity, and security problems
• Monitor and maintain network performance, capacity, and availability
• Collaborate with other IT team members and business stakeholders to identify and prioritize network requirements
• Stay up-to-date with network technologies and industry trends, and recommend new solutions to improve network performance and security
• Provide technical leadership to junior network engineers and other IT team members
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new products and services

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure, with a focus on wireless technologies.
• Strong understanding of wireless network protocols and technologies wireless networking protocols (e.g., 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, WPA2/3, 802.1X).
• Strong understanding of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.
• Experience with network security technologies and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and security information and event management systems
• Security focus with the knowledge of zero-trust security framework principles.
• Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools, such as Wireshark and NetFow
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Solid and in-depth understanding of data center technologies (workloads, operating systems, virtualization, and infrastructure).
• Knowledge of network automation methodologies and familiarity with tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python to improve network agility, efficiency, and reliability.
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python to automate network provisioning, configuration, and orchestration across data center, cloud, WAN, and LAN environments.
• Experience with cloud networking architectures, protocols, and technologies including AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions and experience designing, configuring, and troubleshooting SD-WAN deployments to connect remote sites and branch locations.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Certifications at Expert or professional level such as CWAP/CWDP and CCIE/CCNP Wireless are preferred.
