Job Description

Purpose:

  1. Manage storage of goods to ensure that delivery orders are carried out correctly in safe and efficient way.
  2. Monitor all the daily materials movement to different warehouses and monitoring delivery costs.
  3. Lead the warehousing team and contribute to the targeted OTD (On time delivery) achievement.

Accountabilities:

  1. Manage material movements and distribution processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently and effectively
  2. Ensure warehouse governance (contract management, service level agreements, performance and continuous improvement)
  3. Manage Warehouse’s operators and coordinate all actions needed for smooth supply operations
  4. Ensure cost optimization for warehouse activities in accordance with budget limitations to achieve further savings
  5. Is accountable for inventory management (Stock counting, stock report, FIFO or FEFO rules, etc.)
  6. Ensure 3rd party providers adhere to Syngenta HSEQ standards
  7. Contribute to the Supply Chain OPEX journey
  8. Monitor KPI & Performance management

Qualifications

  • Relevant working experience in warehouse, production & logistics; preferably in the Agri. Business; Minimum 2-3 years Experience is must.
  • Proven track record in managing warehouse and/or logistics department
  • Graduation / Post-Graduation from any reputed University (Public university will be preferred)
  • An understanding of the Agrobusiness is preferable 
  • Computer knowledge: Excellent IT knowledge (MS-Word, MS-Excel, PowerPoint, internet skills) and Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software (SAP) will be added advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate with many people simultaneously, including local authorities, and to deal with many tasks at the same time
  • Aptitude to work under pressure and deliver promises under tight timelines
  • Talent to prioritize actions and ensure appropriate support and resource
  • Strong negotiation and organizing skills
  • Ability to act quickly and think one step in advance
  • Agile to adapt to changes
