We collaborate closely with public and private sector clients to design optimized, responsive, resilient supply chain systems. Our dynamic team of local consultants delivers critical services supporting essential health products such as vaccines, contraceptives, and HIV and antimalarial medications, adapting proven methodologies to local contexts for long-term impact.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a Chief of Staff based in Nairobi, Kenya. The Chief of Staff will serve as a critical partner to the CEO and leadership team in driving operational excellence, supporting organizational cohesion and leading key initiatives as we implement inSupply Health’s new strategy. The Chief of Staff will also support the CEO in executive administrative functions to maximize productivity, collaboration, and impact. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to connect people, processes, and ideas effectively. They should possess a strategic mindset and operational expertise to manage complex projects and drive impactful initiatives. Additionally, they should be highly adaptable, discreet, and committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Calendar and Schedule Management: Organize and manage the CEO’s calendar to optimize time and prioritize engagements. Plan key events such as Board meetings, team retreats, and external engagements.
- Communication Excellence: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications with the CEO. Prepare detailed agendas, briefing materials, minutes, and presentations for meetings, town halls, and investor events.
- Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for operational improvements across the organization. Partner with leaders to develop and document repeatable processes for strategic planning, budget planning, and other critical functions.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the CEO to execute business priorities and strategic initiatives. Drive cross-cutting projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Change Management: Foster collaboration among teams and domains, support change management initiatives, and help teams understand the “why” behind decisions and processes.
- Sounding Board: Act as a thought partner and confidante to the CEO, providing insights and support in strategy and decision-making.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
- Document Preparation and Management: Prepare, proofread, and edit high-level documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s voice and branding.
- Travel Coordination: Plan and manage domestic and international travel logistics for the CEO, ensuring seamless and efficient arrangements.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Master’s degree in business administration, Management, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of six to eight years of relevant experience, ideally in business operations or strategy roles. Experience with reputable consulting firms highly desirable.
- Professional Certification in Project Management, Strategic Leadership, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of uses and administration of popular social media outlets (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
- Sensitivity to diverse audiences and demonstrated sound judgment about messaging
- Interviewing skills and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong working relationships with executives, senior technical experts, and a mixed blend of staff from around the world
- Ability to work with minimal supervision with diverse teams
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office
