  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in mechanical building services.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, codes, and regulations in the industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in:
  • Inspection of mechanical installations and materials
  • Reviewing technical submittals and vendor documentation.
  • Quality audits and preparation of detailed inspection reports.
  • Implementation of QA/QC processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Full clean driving license and Irish construction experience.

QA/QC Engineer Skills:

  • Develop and implement QA/QC plans and inspection schedules for projects.
  • Conduct quality inspections of materials, equipment, and completed installations.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve quality-related issues during the design, procurement, and installation phases.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to address quality concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including inspection reports, certifications, and checklists.
  • Participate in pre-installation meetings to ensure QA/QC measures are understood and adhered to.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action plans for quality non-conformances.
  • Support EHS policies and ensure quality standards are integrated into safety practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality assurance procedures.
