YOUR ROLE

A foundational understanding of optical networks, fiber optics, and DWDM systems. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills are critical in this role.

YOUR PROFILE

• Basic understanding of optical network principles, with a focus on DWDM technology.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and familiarity with fiber optic testing tools like OTDRs, power meters, and optical spectrum analyzers.
• General understanding of networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP/IP) and their interaction with optical transport systems.
• Understanding of SDH and OTN standards
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in network deployment and troubleshooting.
• Capable of working in a team environment and coordinating with other departments such as planning, operations, and field teams.
• Efficient in handling multiple tasks related to network setup and maintenance within specified deadlines.
