Main Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role holder will be responsible for delivering the security service for our client and for the day-to-day protection of persons and property. They will ensure that exceptional service levels are provided to our client and customers and carry out the appropriate defined security processes and procedures in accordance with our policies, Vison and Credo.Our credo describes what matters most to us.   • Be a role model for positive attitude and respect for our colleagues, client and customers;
  • Carry out security activities to the standards confirmed in the site specification and to the standards trained and defined by the SIA;
  • React to any incident or event in order to ensure the safety of persons and property in line with training, client requirements and Company policies and procedures;
  • Maintain a proactive dialogue with internal and external customers, responding to feedback appropriately.

THE BASICS

  • Reinforce our vision to always be our clients “partner of choice”;
  • Ensure client premises and surrounding area is safe and secure by carrying out patrols internally and externally on site and permitting only authorised personnel;
  • Proactively operate CCTV cameras to identify suspicious activity and capturing footage of an evidential nature if required;
  • Report any suspicious items or activities;
  • Maintain a log of all incidents and provide written and verbal reports to the Contract Manager;
  • Advise Line Management of any security occurrence or system failure and identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting security;
  • Maintain, operate and test security equipment and report any failures or performance deterioration;
  • Comply with SIA, Company and client operating procedures, working practices and protocols;
  • Successfully complete mandatory SIA training;
  • Adhere to performance standards which deliver client and customer expectations;
  • Ensure adherence to all legal requirements;
  • Actively contribute towards the achievement of our strategic and operational targets and overall business aims.

  • Current valid SIA licence (Manned Guarding or Door Supervisor).
  • 1st Aid Certificate.

  • Demonstrable track record/experience in a customer facing role;

  • Strong customer focus in delivering and improving services.
