The primary function of this role is to manage and analyze accounting data, prepare financial reports, and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and analyze accounting data to provide relevant financial information to the management team.
• Prepare and compile asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• Document all financial transactions accurately.
• Evaluate financial options to provide recommendations for financial actions.
• Collect information to summarize the current financial status and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Verify financial transactions by auditing documents.
• Develop and recommend accounting policies and procedures to maintain accounting controls.
• Coordinate activities and provide guidance to accounting clerical staff.
• Resolve financial discrepancies through comprehensive account information analysis.
• Ensure the security of financial information by completing database backups and enforcing internal controls.
• Verify documentation and prepare payments by requesting disbursements.
• Answer accounting procedure inquiries by interpreting accounting policies and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on necessary actions.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant
• Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations effectively
• Experience with General Ledger maintenance
• Skilled in creating and maintaining Journal Entries
• Expertise in conducting Month End Close procedures
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
• Experience in SAP accounting software
• Ability to use Pivot Table for data management
• Proficiency in using VLOOKUP function in Excel
• Strong ability to Analyze Financial Statements
• Experience in dealing with Audited Financial Statements
• Ability to manage Month-end Financial tasks
• Skilled in preparing Month-end Journal Entries
• Capable of generating Month-end Reports
• Experience in Monthly Account Reconciliation
• Ability to manage Monthly Accruals.
