Specifically, the AI Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of the life cycle of a range of AI-Data projects especially rating projects, through the utilization of expertise and technical skills to manage project budgets, timelines and quality requirements.The Project Manager has accountability for fostering professional client relationships, managing and coordinating external vendors, and leading and collaborating with cross-functional project teams and partners.Role ResponsibilitiesAI Project Managers are ultimately responsible for the quality of work, profitability and performance of their projects. Responsibilities include:Overseeing all aspects of the management of projects from hand-off through project completion to ensure project success against defined KPIDeveloping and maintaining project plans, workflows, guidelines and resource materialsProviding effective analysis and reporting of project performanceTracking, monitoring and controlling project financial, timeline and quality performanceProviding effective risk management through identification, escalation, mitigation, and effective resolution of issuesExecuting projects autonomously, while successfully coordinating with cross-functional project teams as required to procure required resources and supportServing as a primary point of contact for clients and both internal and external stakeholdersLeading and contributing to continuous performance improvements both across projects and the department’s internal tools and processesContributing to the development of the knowledge and capability of the department, team and colleaguesRole Requirements – Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent English language proficiencyExceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsEstablished expertise in project management methodologiesOutstanding teamwork and collaboration skillsDemonstrated analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skillsEstablished competency in the use of business applications and collaboration tools including but not limited to Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and Google Workspace suite of productsExperience with large volume data annotation, search relevant, content moderation or rating projects.Role Requirements – Education and/or ExperienceMinimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent3+ years’ relevant project management experience or in other roles with similar responsibilitiesExperience in end-to-end management of projectsExperience managing AI data-related projects such as e.g. Transcription, Data CollectionAbility to apply technology in solving business technical problemsExperience in applying PMI/PMP management principles, methods, and standardsPreferred Role RequirementsPMP or equivalent certificationExperience in managing projects with crowdsourcing and remote resourcing solutionsExperience working in a multinational/multicultural virtual working environmentExperience in working in a cross-functional/matrix organizationBackground in AI industry
