Hardware Engineer (Mandarin Speaking)

Salary: open DOEWe are looking for a Hardware Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading technology company, specializing in product development and system controls across a range of industries including automotive, medical, and consumer electronics.About the Role:As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge hardware solutions while integrating software and hardware components for innovative product development. This position requires frequent collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers in China, making Mandarin language skills essential.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of body-worn cameras and accessories, ensuring high-quality output.
- Oversee prototype testing and refinement, meeting rigorous product standards.
- Maintain technical documentation (designs, specifications, BOM).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and collaborate with suppliers for quality control.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align hardware with product goals.
About You:
- Strong background in hardware design, including video, audio, power, and wireless.
- Knowledgeable in compliance, safety, and reliability testing.
- Proven team management skills with a focus on innovation.
- Mandarin fluency to work closely with suppliers.
- Skilled in handling multiple projects with quality and timely delivery.
