Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesEngagement with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)
- Actively engage with HCPs to provide medical and scientific information, ensuring a deep understanding of therapeutic areas and product benefits.
- Identify and map relevant HCPs, establishing strong professional relationships.
Scientific Expertise and Support
- Serve as a trusted medical expert in interactions with external stakeholders.
- Deliver scientific presentations and provide comprehensive technical training for both internal and external audiences.
Collaboration and Strategic Alignment
- Contribute to local strategic plans for company products in collaboration with regulatory, market access, marketing, and sales teams, playing an integral role within the brand team.
- Maintain a strong partnership with legal and compliance teams to ensure all medical activities remain non-promotional in nature.
Medical Project Management
- Manage strategic medical projects, including studies, training initiatives, and departmental strategies.
- Participate in local and international scientific communities, conferences, and symposiums to stay updated on medical advancements and share insights.
Support for Field Medical Teams
- Provide scientific guidance to field medical teams by conducting internal training sessions and reviewing key materials.
- Oversee data prioritization and insights collection to align with the local product strategy.

- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements (Experience & Education)
- Educational background: scientific profile preferred, university degree (Master, PhD) in Life Sciences, Medicine, Biology, Pharma.
- Previous experience as a Jr Medical Science Liaison is a plus
- Experience in Women’s Health is a plus
- Language: Expert/fluent communicator in both Dutch and French languages and excellent knowledge of written and spoken scientific English
- Positive and ‘can-do’ approach; biased towards finding solutions and win/wins responsiveness and flexibility.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of the Belgian Health Care system & activities in relation to field-medical activities.
- The ability to clearly articulate complex scientific topics
- Have competencies in delivering medical / scientific presentations
- Exercises good judgment on clinical, regulatory, legal, quality and technical related compliance issues; ensures compliance obligations are met across all areas of responsibility.
