Position Overview

The Concession Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a select group of concession stands or portable locations for an event. Concession Supervisors are responsible for ensuring quality product and service for several Concession stands by managing a group of concession stand workers, hourly employees, Temporary or NFP. The Concession Supervisor must be familiar with all food and beverage items available as well as prep techniques and quantities.

Essential Job Functions

The Concession Supervisor is the key for success for the workers assigned to report to you each event. The Concession Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all pre-game inventory is accounted for and verifying it with the Stand Manager on the day of the event. The successful Concession Supervisor will manage your assigned locations by communicating with various points of contact (i.e., Warehouse, Concession Manager, Asst. Concession Manager, other Supervisors) to ensure the satisfaction of all guests and workers at each concession location. The Concession Supervisor is to assist the Stand Manager as needed with any guest complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution for the guest. At the end of each event the Concession Supervisor is to make sure all the necessary paperwork is accurately completed by each Concession Stand Manager and turned in for final accounting. The Concession Supervisor is to coach each Concession Stand Manager on closing duties to clean and prepare the concession location for future events. Plus, inspection of stands at End of Day and complete closeout of location.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a valid TEAM, Title 4 or TIP certification card
  • Must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked
  • Must have a H.S Diploma or equivalent
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms, successfully pass a background check and math assessment involving all US monetary units
  • Must be able to work as well as independently as well as with a group.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced high stress environment
  • Preferred 3+ years supervisory experience in high volume restaurant environment or another stadium/arena

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to supervise team with varying skill levels and ability
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and be on feet for extended period of time
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
