We are looking for an A/V Telecom Service Desk Specialist to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Sr Director, Infrastructure and Services and will be based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain Audio Visual equipment and communication hardware and software and Individual and Group Video Conferencing. Such as:
  • USB peripherals
  • Networking
  • Audio Routing
  • Video Routing
  • Zoom Rooms
  • Company Events
  • Live sound mixing
  • Cinematography
  • Lighting
  • Setup/Strike
  • Post-production/editing
  • Work with on-prem and/or cloud VoIP phone systems such as:
  • Avaya on-prem
  • Zoom/Teams Phone
  • Work with media creation tools and best practices such as:
  • Presentation creation
  • Word processing
  • Photo editing
  • Video editing
  • Audio mixing/editing
  • Work with media creation tools and best practices such as:
  • Support Help Desk/Service Desk
  • Provide IT support services to local and remote employees
  • Independently install, configure and troubleshoot hardware including laptops, workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Respond to escalation for technical assistance via phone, email and in person
  • Document ticket status and provide updates to requestor as well as management
  • Support for executive and customer meetings
  • Provide input and help to maintain standard operating procedures, best practices and customer service guidelines relating to client services desktop support.

Skills and Experience:

  • Competence in setting up, operating, and maintaining Audio Visual equipment and communication hardware and software
  • Knowledge of on-prem and/or cloud VoIP phone systems
  • Previous experience supporting a Help Desk/Service Desk
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

$94,300.00 – $135,700.00
