Our client is an established Irish consultancy firm who have recently been acquired by a UK Group with over 650 employees and a projected T/O in 2024 of over £50M. They are seeking an experienced Qualified Accountant who will manage their internal finance function and report to both local Partners and the parent company. This is a new role and brings with it the opportunity to become a core member of the management team both in Ireland and the UK.The duties will include:
- To prepare Management Information to tight deadlines
- To produce key performance reports in a timely manner; including but not limited to, WIP and debtor review, billing and recoveries, chargeable hours performance and utilisation, and cash-flow projections
- To prepare monthly statistical information for the practice and to use analytical procedures and accounting ratios and other benchmarking techniques to assess the performance within the organisations Group
- To prepare inter-department and inter-company transfers monthly; this includes time for staff working on assignments other than their primary responsibility.
- To ensure spending, including overheads, is in line with budget
- To maintain and generally monitor the time and fees ledger information; specifically, in relation to staffing (including but not limited to charge-out rates, utilisation, chargeable hours information and budgets) and to report on any inconsistencies
- To produce all financial budgets
- To prepare VAT returns
- To work closely with the Company Partners and Group FC as required
