Accountant in Alpharetta, Georgia

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accountant in the Non-Profit sector, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, United States. As an Accountant, your main role will be to manage and execute bank and balance sheet reconciliations, conduct month-end closing activities, and work with the newly implemented ERP system to streamline accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline accounting operations by utilizing the newly implemented ERP system

• Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Efficiently manage prepaid balance sheet activities

• Resolve complex accounting issues and discrepancies

• Keep up-to-date with bank reconciliation activities

• Conduct month-end closing activities in a timely manner

• Prepare necessary accounting reports for external auditors

• Audit reconciliation and ensure necessary adjustments are made. Requirements • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the non-profit sector.

• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Experience with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting functions.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven ability in auditing practices.

• Deep understanding of Balance Sheet Account.

• Experience in performing bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is preferred.
