Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in our CPA firm based in Billerica, Massachusetts, 01821, United States. Your main task will be to handle various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all your duties.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the precise execution of various accounting functions

• Undertake the processing and management of customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly to ensure accuracy

• Monitor customer accounts and respond promptly to any changes or issues

• Resolve any customer inquiries related to their accounts

• Take necessary action based on the monitoring of customer accounts

• Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out in a highly organized and detail-oriented manner. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.

• Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.

• Proven experience in an accounting role within a CPA firm is required.

• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with accounting functions.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent organization and time management abilities.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• Commitment to abide by all regulations and ethical guidelines related to accounting and financial reporting.

• Continual learning mindset to stay updated with the latest accounting standards and regulations.

• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
