Description We are in search of a diligent Accountant to join our team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The primary focus of this role is to manage accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, job costing, payroll, and bank reconciliations. This role also involves human resource responsibilities and the preparation of sales and tax use.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner

• Handle job costing to track the expenses for individual projects

• Manage payroll for the team ensuring accurate and punctual payments

• Prepare sales and use tax documents for submission

• Perform bank reconciliations, including domestic and international wire transfers

• Conduct monthly closing activities and ensure all accounting tasks are completed within deadlines

• Collaborate with external CPA for tax filings and year-end closing

• Perform multiple roles and adapt to varying responsibilities as required

• Utilize QuickBooks for efficient accounting operations

• Apply knowledge of Construction Accounting to facilitate industry-specific financial processes. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 7 years of experience in an Accountant role or similar capacity.

• Proficiency in executing all accounting functions.

• Demonstrable experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in preparing and managing annual budgets.

• Ability to perform cash flow analysis and job cost evaluations.

• Proven experience in managing payroll.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

• Experience in construction accounting is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• CPA certification is a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
