Description We are looking for a competent Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role entails collaborating with various departments to understand and address financial requirements and expectations. It offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with different departments to comprehend their financial requirements and expectations.

• Ensure the successful migration of all existing financial data into the accounting system.

• Leverage your knowledge of accounting and accounting software to guarantee accurate and efficient reporting of financial data.

• Customize and configure the accounting software to meet business needs and requirements.

• Develop, document, and implement new accounting procedures and controls, and create training materials when needed.

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and audits.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements by processing financial data accurately and timely.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the accounting system and financial operations.

• Act as a bridge between the Finance and IT departments to optimize the utilization and workflows of the accounting system.

• Utilize skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP – Financial Services, Concur, ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Balance Sheet Account. Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems is a must for this role.

• Experience with ADP – Financial Services will be considered an advantage.

• Familiarity with Concur is required.

• Knowledge of ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Ability to manage accounting functions effectively and efficiently.

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Auditing skills are necessary for this role.

• Ability to manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and dependability.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
