Accountant in Eugene, Oregon

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with ERP experience in a manufacturing setting. This opportunity demands a unique blend of accounting expertise, analytical abilities and a robust knowledge of software, supplemented by experience in the manufacturing industry

Responsibilities:

• Management of the daily operations in accounting, such as journal entries, account reconciliation, monthly close processes and report generation.

• Working collaboratively with the finance team to improve financial procedures.

• Conducting detailed analysis of complex financial information and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Preparing financial reports and presenting findings to management.

• Reviewing and recommending modifications to our accounting systems and procedures.

• Maintaining financial security by establishing internal controls.

• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the healthcare industry.

• Extensive knowledge of accounting software like Great Plains.

• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.

• An understanding of healthcare related regulations and financial standards.

• Strong skills in creating forecasting models.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively.

Requirements

• Must have experience with ERP Systems

• Experience with accounting functions including month-end close

• Knowledge of year-end audits

• Must be adept with Excel
