Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with ERP experience in a manufacturing setting. This opportunity demands a unique blend of accounting expertise, analytical abilities and a robust knowledge of software, supplemented by experience in the manufacturing industry
Responsibilities:
Management of the daily operations in accounting, such as journal entries, account reconciliation, monthly close processes and report generation.
Working collaboratively with the finance team to improve financial procedures.
Conducting detailed analysis of complex financial information and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Preparing financial reports and presenting findings to management.
Reviewing and recommending modifications to our accounting systems and procedures.
Maintaining financial security by establishing internal controls.
Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Requirements:
Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field.
Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Extensive knowledge of accounting software like Great Plains.
Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
An understanding of healthcare related regulations and financial standards.
Strong skills in creating forecasting models.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively.

Requirements
• Must have experience with ERP Systems
• Experience with accounting functions including month-end close
• Knowledge of year-end audits
• Must be adept with Excel
• Experience with federal, state, and local taxes is preferred
