Accountant in Fort Worth, Texas

Description We are seeking an Accountant based in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Accountant, you will deal with various aspects of accounting for an organization in the non-profit sector. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be performing tasks including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, audit and tax preparation, and monthly account analysis among others.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for multiple entities

• Perform general ledger and bank account reconciliations

• Assist in annual audit and tax preparation

• Utilize financial institution software for accounting tasks

• Interface accounts receivable/payable to the general ledger

• Conduct monthly account analysis

• Perform other assigned duties

• Use accounting software systems proficiently

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Carry out auditing tasks and balance sheet account reconciliations Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experienced with ADP – Financial Services

• Knowledgeable in Cl Programming

• Skilled in using Concur

• Familiar with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning

• Able to carry out Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Auditing

• Capable of maintaining Balance Sheet Account
