Job Summary: The Technical Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a deep understanding of technical accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
Research and implement new accounting standards and regulations.
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions.
Assist in the preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, etc.).
Conduct technical accounting research and document findings.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
Provide training and support to the accounting team on technical matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical accounting or public accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and SEC reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Big Four public accounting experience.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 – $90000.00
