One of our clients in the San Leandro area is looking for an Accountant for a contract to permanent placement opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements

• Handling month-end close procedures for the organization

• Performing reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity

• Managing fixed asset accounting to track and record the company’s assets

• Utilizing accounting software systems effectively for various accounting tasks

• Conducting credit card reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accounted for

• Engaging in non-profit accounting tasks, adhering to specific industry standards and regulations

• Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to the organization’s financial activities.

Requirements • Proficiency in Month End Close operations, demonstrating ability to accurately finalize and analyze monthly financial activities

• Extensive experience in Non-profit Accounting, showing a deep understanding of the unique financial needs and constraints of the non-profit sector

• Demonstrable skill in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records and identify any discrepancies

• Proven ability to carry out Credit Card Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions align with bank statements

• Proficient in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, aiding in strategic decision-making and financial planning

• Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting, with a strong understanding of depreciation, amortization, and disposal of assets

• Competence in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, assuring the accuracy of all financial data and rectifying any discrepancies
