Accountant in Houston, Texas

Description We are seeking an Accountant to join our team located in Houston, Texas. As part of our team, the Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting functions, including processing invoices, maintaining balance sheet accounts, and managing both accounts payable and receivable. The candidate will be working within the manufacturing and production industry and will be required to handle tasks related to auditing and the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of accounting functions with precision and accuracy.

• Management of accounts payable and receivable.

• Processing and maintaining balance sheet accounts.

• Handling of depreciation schedules and mortgage interest entries.

• Utilization of NetSuite for various accounting activities.

• Auditing tasks and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

• Inputting payroll entries as required.

• Working collaboratively within a manufacturing and production setting. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field

• Proficiency in executing all accounting functions

• Adept at managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in auditing, with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to handle Balance Sheet Account with accuracy and efficiency

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software

• Experience in maintaining and managing Depreciation Schedules

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations and management
