Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Howard, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, handling accounts payable, and overseeing budget processes. You will also be required to work with QuickBooks and manage payroll duties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting functions

• Handle all accounts payable duties and ensure accuracy in all transactions

• Develop and manage budget processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and to maintain financial records

• Manage payroll duties, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time

• Conduct regular reviews of financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and guidelines

• Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and operations

• Assist in financial audits and implement audit recommendations Requirements • Proficient in executing accounting functions with precision and accuracy

• Proven experience working with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated knowledge of budget processes and their implementation

• Capability to handle payroll procedures efficiently

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

• Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
