Job Title: Accountant

Job Description

This Accountant will work alongside the VP of Finance to oversee the accounting operations of the company. The Accountant will be responsible for producing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and preparing monthly financial statements. Additionally, they will manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable and maintain financial records within Excel spreadsheets and Sage 500.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations alongside the VP of Finance

• Produce financial reports and monthly financial statements

• Maintain accounting records

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Maintain financial records within Excel spreadsheets and Sage 500

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping

• Basic Excel experience (spreadsheets)

• Experience with debits and credits

• Experience with cash flow projections

• Experience with Sage 500

• Cost accounting experience

• State and federal tax knowledge

• Public accounting/CPA experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CPA license (Nice to have, but not required)

• Experience in public accounting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 – $36.06
